Bastrop, Texas - Texas Chainsaw Massacre BBQ The BBQ - Gas station used in Tobe Hooper's 1974 movie "Texas Chainsaw Massacre," most recently named "Bilbo's Texas Landmark," appears to have closed sometime in 2006. Signs indicate it's for sale and it looks mostly unchanged physically from the time the movie was filmed (although the gas pumps are now missing). [chad schaefer, 03/16/2007]
