Granville, Ohio - Victoria Woodhull Clock

On the side of the Robbins-Hunter Museum (former home of the founder of Spelman College), there is an old clock with the name Woodhull on the bottom. This is the only known memorial in the US to the first woman to run for president of the United States, Victoria Woodhull, who ran in 1872. It can be viewed from the entrance to the Granville Library, facing the museum.

The museum is also worth a visit if it is open, and has a nice collection of historical items and rotating exhibits. The Woodhull clock can be viewed at any time. [Fletcher Chmara-Huff, 04/21/2009]
